The need for a more elaborated and complete standard on subsea structures and manifolds than what is currently included in ISO 13628-1). Reference is made to growing complexity and sizes of subsea structures and growing engineering and fabrication challenges with subsea manifolds. These needs suggest the development of a stand alone ISO 13628 part to serve the global subsea industry.
