This International Standard provides requirements for the functional specification, technical specifications including; design, design verification and validation, materials, documentation and data control, repair, shipment, and storage. Installation and maintenance of these products are outside the scope of this International Standard. Also not included are products covered under ISO 11960, ISO 10432, ISO 10423, ISO 14310, ISO 16070, ISO 28781, ISO 10407-1, ISO 10407-2, and ISO 17078-1 and the following products: liner/tubing hangers, drill stem test tools, surface controlled sliding sleeves and chokes, down-hole artificial lift equipment. This standard does not cover the connections to the well conduit.
