This standard gives requirements for carrying out, efficiently and under standardized conditions, the determination, declaration and verification of basic noise emission quantities common to the types of textile machinery dealt with in EN ISO 9902-2 to EN ISO 9902-7. For each textile machine, two parts of EN ISO 9902 will normally need to be used: this part and the relevant, specific part of EN ISO 9902.
