This part (Part 12) of the HD details the particular specifications for heat-resistant polyvinyl chloride insulated and sheathed flexible cables (cords) of rated voltage up to and including 300/500V, for a rated conductor temperature not exceeding 90°C. All cables shall comply with the appropriate requirements given in Part 1, and the individual types of cable shall each comply with the particular requirements of this Part.
