This International Standard specifies tests to determine the abrasion, scuff, and smudge resistance of photographic images. This International Standard is applicable to digital and analogue printed materials, including photo books, produced using silver halide, electrophotography, inkjet, dye sublimation, and dye transfer processes. This International Standard is not applicable to printed materials produced using offset lithography and other photomechanical printing processes.
