This International Standard specifies requirements on a test bench for determining the fire resistance of
gasketed mechanical couplings and similar pipeline components containing a resilient or elastomeric material, in particular by tests according to ISO 19921. During the exposure to flames, there are working pressures up to 10 bar possible within the piping system.
