This International Standard establishes minimum performance, classification, and labelling requirements for protective clothing worn by operators applying pesticide products, primarily field strength, in liquid form. Protective clothing covered by this International Standard includes, but may not be limited to shirts, jackets, trousers, coveralls, and liquid-tight or spray-tight garments. This International Standard addresses protection provided by protective accessories, with the exception of those used for the protection of the head, hands, and feet. This standard does not address protection against biocides, fumigants or highly volatile liquids.
