This document applies to railway driving simulators for driver training. This document can be applicable for all Guided Transport systems, which cover Trains, Metros, Tramways and Light Rails, as part of public/private transport systems. These vehicles are intended for the operation of intercity, urban and suburban passenger or freight services with self-propelled systems and operated on either segregated or not segregated paths. This document defines the minimum functions, and performances that should be considered to be integrated into a driver training simulator. Annex A to E provide additional information.
