ISO 14030-4 specifies requirements for verification bodies performing verification of claims of conformity to ISO 14030-1 or ISO 14030-2, and to 14030-3 or an applicable substitute taxonomy. Conformity with the requirements of Part 4 is mandatory for green debt issuers, emitters or borrowers who make claims of conformity to any part of ISO 14030. Part 4 specifies requirements for the validation of claims of eligibility made in conformity with ISO 14030-1, subclause 5.4 and ISO 14030-2, subclause 5.2 . ISO 14030-4 also establishes requirements for the optional use of third-party marks of conformity.
