This International Standard establishes requirements for an indoor air quality management system and its applicable to any organization that wishes to: a) establish a sytem for the management of quality of indoor air; b) implement, maintain and continually improve a management system of indoor air quality; c) ensure compliance with policy of the indoor air quality management system established; d) demonstrate compliance with this International Standard. The scope of this standard are indoor environments of all kinds of facilities, installations and buildings, except those that are exclusively dedicated to industrial and/or agriculture activities. NOTE – This International Standard aplies to of all types of indoor occupied by all kinds of persons, including regular users, clients, workers, etc.
