This standard describes a method for storing data in a PDF (objects and metadata) that correspond to processing steps of printed products other than the actual printing. The following groups of processing steps data are defined: – Data corresponding to finishing steps, such as cutting, folding or gluing that will produce the 3 dimensional printed product from a flat substrate – Braille – Informational panels – Indications of physical dimensions – Indications of intended positions of graphical elements – Printed white on transparent and metallic surfaces – Printed varnish
