This part of ISO 20140 is applicable to manufacturing systems for discrete, batch, and continuous manufacturing. This part of ISO 20140 is applicable to an entire manufacturing system and to a part of the manufacturing system. Life cycle assessment of products manufactured by the manufacturing system is outside the scope of ISO 20140.
