This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of perchlorate in soil and soil materials. Under specified conditions in this international standard, a concentration as low as 0,1 mg/kg can be determined. The working range is restricted by the ion-exchange capacity of the separator column. Dilution of the water extracts to the working range can be necessary.
