This part of ISO 5682 is applicable for sprayers with the intention of applying liquid evenly over a horizontal surface. This part of ISO 5682 specifies test methods to assess spray liquid transverse distribution. Methods are based on spray liquid volume measurement, nozzle flow rate measurement or nozzle tip pressure measurement. This standard does not cover aerial sprayers. Hydraulic sprayers use a range of design features to deliver and control spray. Some test methods are not suitable for all sprayer types. Applicable test methods are described in Annex B.
