This document provides guidelines on the design of navigation methods for menu item selection with use of 1-direction devices. This document specifies requirements for menu navigation with 1-direction devices in terms of time delay, loops and focus rendering. The guidelines are applicable to any information technology equipment on which the display area is associated with the 1-direction devices.
