This part of IEC 61810 part7 provides general guidance for the insulation coordination for electromechanical elementary relays and similar components within the scope of IEC technical committee 94. This part may also be used for similar devices when specified in a detail specification. The test and/or measurement of creepages, clearances, solid insolation and insulation systems shall be carried out in conjunction with other IEC 61810-7 series parts. The basis for the insulation coordination is given in IEC 60664 series.
