This CP specifies requirements to specific content of the manufacturer's quality system including documentation to be produced for evidence of its application.

Although this CP intends to cover the life cycle of a software based system or component, the requirements are related only to the activities performed by the manufacturer. Activities to be performed by other stakeholders, such as system integrator and owner, are not part of this CP.

The AoM certification process is described in Sec.2 and requirements to the quality system are described in Sec.3.
