This class programme provides requirements to laboratories performing corrosion testing of corrosion resistant steels according to IACS UI SC 258.
The general requirements for obtaining DNV AOSS certificate are given in the class programme DNV-CP-0484.
The approval may be given to both a recognised test laboratory, independent of the steel manufacturer and the steel manufacturer's own laboratory.
