This class programme provides requirements to companies performing noise and vibration measurements according to the class notation COMF(V-crn), focussing on appropriate procedures and test equipment, qualified personnel and implementation of procedures for training, performance, reporting and verification of noise and vibration measurements.

The general requirements for obtaining DNV AOSS certificate are given in the class programme DNV-CP-0484.

The approval shall also include field measurements of sound insulation and impact sound insulation measurements according to ISO 16283-1 and ISO 16283-2.
