This document gives guidance on measures that shall be implemented to achieve the integrity level required for redundant DP systems operating with closed bus-tie(s). Hence, this document describes the additional technical measures that shall be considered compared to open bus DP designs. In addition to explaining the DNV approach and discussing important basics in the preface of each section, the document gives requirements for how to implement the different DNV class notations for redundant DP systems.
