This RP specifies processes to assure that the ML application is trustworthy (Figure 1-2) throughout its life cycle. Accordingly, this RP provides recommendations and requirements on several levels as follows:

— organizational level, which covers the maturity of the organization developing, operating, and maintaining ML applications, and the capability of the organization to conduct data management, risk management, and decision management

— project level, which covers project planning, controlling, information management, and quality management

— process level, which covers processes in the entire life cycle of the ML application

— product level, which covers the required properties of trustworthy ML applications.
