Main changes coming into force 1 July 2012

• Sec.1 Class Notations

— A duplicated class notation has been removed in Table C5.

— HL notation - changed syntax in Table C6.

• Sec.2 Class Notations Not Covered by this Edition of Sec.1

This section has been completely rewritten and the title has been made more precise. Noteworthy changes include:

— A description related to the validity of the class notations has been included.

— A description of the table content has been included.

— Table A1 has been reformatted, enabling separate description of class notations and qualifiers. The table entries have been corrected.

Main changes coming into force 1 January 2013

• Sec.1 Class Notations

— A new class notation Seismic Vessel has been added in Table C1.

— A new class notation Concrete Barge has been added in Table C1.

— The qualifiers for class notation Escort has been updated in Table C1.

— A new class notation Shore Power has been added in Table C5.
