Main changes coming into force 1 January 2013
• General
All pollution prevention requirements are gathered in a separate section. New rules covering exhaust gas cleaning systems have been included.
• Sec.1
— C100, updated list of required documentation.
• Sec.4
— Sub-section M “Oil Pollution Prevention” in previous edition of document has been moved to Sec.6. From the former M203, the following has been deleted: Possible reduction in collecting tank volumes is not allowed for ships fitted with sludge incinerators or similar equipment for onboard processing of sludge.
• Sec.6
— New section covering pollution preventing equipment for exhaust gas cleaning and oil pollution prevention.
