Introduction
This new chapter introduces the additional voluntary class notation VIBR. Vessels that fulfil the requirements for vibration class notation will be assigned the class notation VIBR. The notation is applicable to new buildings and ships in operation that meet specified vibration level criteria measured at pre-defined positions for machinery, components, equipment and structure.
