This service specification describes the principles and processes necessary to support the planning and execution of the verification and certification of PtX equipment by DNV.

Structure of the document

This service specification is structured as follows:

— Sec.2 describes the phases and deliverables for the verification and certification of PtX equipment

— Sec.3 describes the activities involved in each phase of the verification and certification process

— Sec.4 describes the procedural requirements for verification and certification

— App.A presents trigger questions used to inform the selection of an appropriate verification level

— App.B provides detailed scope of work tables for the different phases and levels of involvement for the verification and certification of electrolyser systems, applicable when DNV-ST-J301 is used

— App.C provides a list of documents required, their contents and design aspects, for review as part of the verification and certification of PtX equipment

— App.D provides examples of DNV deliverables issued following the verification and certification process.
