This CP describes the work process and specifies the system requirements related to documentation and type testing for TA of ERBs under MARPOL. The functional requirements are based on MEPC.312(74). General requirements in DNVGL-RU-SHIP Pt.4 Ch.9 applies additionally, mainly depending on the TA scope. An installed ERB complying with MARPOL comprises both hardware (HW) and software (SW). The HW in the ERB may be commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), HW designed for the particular purpose or a combination of both. This CP supports any combination of these.
