This RP covers technical documentation required for assemblies, equipment, components and materials that are delivered as part of a subsea contract. The scope includes engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing and mechanical completion, and applies to:

— permanently installed subsea equipment

— temporary equipment delivered to the operator (lifting and transportation equipment, intervention equipment and tooling).

Installation and commissioning is not included in the scope with the exception of the umbilical system. However documentation used as input to prepare installation procedures is included.

The RP is not applicable for rented equipment
