Scope of work
General
The scope of approval for life-saving equipment and arrangement according to Ch.8 and Annex 11 of the 2000 HSC Code will be decided on a case by case basis depending on authorisation.
Classification
All relevant requirements for life-saving appliances and arrangements addressed by Ch.8 and Annex 11 of the International Code of Safety for High-Speed Craft (2000), as amended (hereafter referred to as the 2000 HSC Code) shall be complied with.
The Society will not enforce its own requirements related to life-saving appliances and arrangements for assignment of main class.
HSC Safety Certificate
The Government of the flag state is responsible for ensuring that the craft is provided with the lifesaving equipment and arrangement required by the 2000 HSC Code.
