The requirements of this chapter apply to control and monitoring of:
— propulsion
— directional control
— stabilisation systems
— auxiliary systems
including remote control, to ensure safe operation of the craft from the control station(s) in the operating compartment (and/or other control stations) in all operating conditions, including manoeuvring, as well as along quay, and for unattended machinery spaces.
The requirements are additional to those given in DNVGL-RU-SHIP Pt.4 Ch.9.
