The certification of navigation and aviation aids of an offshore wind farm provides evidence to stakeholders (wind farm owners, financiers, partners, utility companies, insurer, the public, governmental and nongovernmental organizations) that a set of requirements is met for fulfilling safe operation, navigation and aviation during design, commissioning and in-service of an offshore wind farm.

The services specified are based on the listed standards and regulations in the introduction (see [1.1]) in combination with the standards and regulations listed in [1.5] as well as broad experience gained by DNV GL in related wind energy projects.
