Scope and application
This standard is applicable for design and manufacturing of the following subsea equipment, as defined in the corresponding ISO 13628 series standards:
— Subsea wellhead and tree equipment
— Subsea production control systems
— Subsea structures and manifolds.
The requirements for installation, operation and work-over are not covered in this standard except that transportation, installation and operational load cases shall be evaluated at the design stage for the equipment. For requirements relating to workover systems/equipment reference should be made to DNVGLOS- E101.
