DNV GL ADDITIONAL RULES AND GUIDELINES VI-4-1 PDF

These Guidelines apply to internal combustion engines which are produced in accordance with the Rules of Germanischer Lloyd (GL) and in mass in accordance with 2. of these Guidelines - hereafter referred to as mass produced engines - and for which the manufacturer has received an approval as a supplier of mass produced engines from GL. 

The scope of these Guidelines is limited to engines with cylinder bores of ≤ 300 mm. 

GL Head Office will decide which engine types / engine series meet the requirements for the application of these Guidelines.
