This standard operating procedure describes the job skill training requirements of Research & Development personnel performing flow cytometry assays. It describes the requirements and procedures for documenting employee training, and includes the attached form, "R&D Flow Cytometry Training Checklist", which contains an extensive checklist of relevant skills and procedures. Training criteria include flow cytometer concepts of operation, setup and servicing, acquisition and analysis software, daily optimization, data acquisition, and independent performance of skills under supervision of the flow cytometry specialist.
