This standard establishes the test procedures and test sequences for evaluating compliant contact terminations. The test sequences defined herein shall be considered generic. Unless otherwise specified in the referencing document, this standard applies to the following types of contacts with compliant contact terminations.
— Contacts that are supplied as separate items, but may be inserted into a housing
— Free standing contacts that are not used in a housing
