EEMUA Publication 231 has been developed and written by EEMUA and the Safety Assessment Federation (SAFed) in consultation with the Health and Safety Executive's Hazardous Installations Directorate, together with other interested stakeholders who use such plant, including operators, inspection bodies (including 'competent persons') and providers of specialist services to the process industries.
EEMUA 231 brings together existing good practice for periodic examination and testing of the mechanical integrity of plant containing hazardous substances. EEMUA 231 is endorsed by the HSE.
