PURPOSE AND SCOPE

ED-73F Change 1 includes updates, corrections, and additional material to support implementation of the Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS) for Secondary Surveillance Radar Mode S Transponders ED-73F. The largest of the changes is a revision to the Basic Dataflash function, which reduced the list of supported registers. Each section that includes changes is included in its entirety. With the exception of some corrections to section numbers, the section numbers correspond to those contained in the published ED-73F MOPS.
