PURPOSE.
This advisory circular (AC) contains the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) specification for obstruction lighting equipment.
APPLICATION.
The specifications contained in this AC are recommended by the FAA in all applications involving development of this nature. For airport projects receiving Federal funds under the airport grant assistance program, the use of these standards is mandatory.
