1. SCOPE

1.1 The purpose of this Standard is to designate the steps required to be taken by paint spray booth vendors to obtain Company approval of spray booth water wash back sections to be used in vehicle assembly plants. Note: Company approval of spray booth water wash back sections for hi solids prime and enamal must meet this standard modified as explained in Appendix1. Those paragraphs revised in Appendix I are prefaced by an asteriek (*).
