1. SCOPE
1.1 The intent of this standard is to provide alI operations of the Ford Motor Company with a current, authoritative Standard for Industrial Washers. This standard eliminates the necessity of compiling a completely new and detailed specification for each washer contemplated; further, basic design and engineering rquirements are defined in the best interest of all Company operations.
1.2 Manufacturing Guideline C2-8 for component part cleanliness requirements shall be considered part of this standard. .
