SECTION 1. SCOPE
1.1 GENERAL This standard covers the basic requirements for all portable equipment and accessories and is intended to meet safety requirements, extend the working life of the equipment and to promote uniformity throughout the Company (Ford of Britain). It shall be deemed to cover, whether- specifically mentioned or not, such apparatus and parts as may be necessary for the safe and satisfactory operation of any Portable Equipment and Accessories used on any of the Company's premises.
