1. SCOPE
The materials defined by these specifications are grades of laminated float glass coated with metallized films on the No. 2 or No. 3 surfaces of the windshields. They meet test requirements as described in American National Standard Institute Safety Code: ANSI Standard Z26.1, 1977, January 26, 1977, as supplemented by Z26.1a, July 3, 1980, and incorporated by reference in FMVSS 205, February 23, 1984.
