1. SCOPE

This specification defines the performance of a painted finish required for partially visible or non-visible exterior surfaces of automotive parts. Three levels of quality are defined as follows: ESB-M2P28: for parts which are primarily visible and are subject to severe weathering, corrosion or are required to be functional over a long period of time. ESB-M2P29: for parts which are subject to less severe weathering, corrosion or functional requirements. ESB-M2P30: corrosion resistance.
