1. SCOPE

This specification defines the performance requirements for exterior, high visibility enamels applied to fully primed and baked exterior metal surfaces. Primer-topcoat systems defined by this specification are identified by the suffixes D1 through D9. These systems are defined as follows: ESB-M2P4-D1 Describes an automotive paint finish which provides good initial appearance, durability and corrosion resistance.
