1. SCOPE:

The material defined by this specification is a heat resistant spaced extentional layer deadener composed of a bituminous saturated fibrous layer core with a filled visco-elastic copolymer surface and a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the other side, protected by a release material which is removed prior to installation. The release material is coated as required to provide release from the adhesive and/or blocking resistance in shipping and storage.
