This procedure is used to quantitatively determine thermal extraction rates of selected cyclical volatile siloxane compounds (D3, D4, D5, D6 and D9) in elastomeric materials. Other cyclical volatile siloxane compounds (D7, D8, others) can be determined semi-quantitatively.
