SCOPE: The material desired under this Standard is a standard duty, two braid, single gas welding and cutting hose with flame and oil resistant tube and oil and abrasion resistant cover for use where normal dragging and abrasive conditions are encountered. The hose is equivalent to that designated as Type S, Grade M, in the Joint Rubber Manufacturers Association - Compressed Gas Association Specification for Rubber Welding Hose.
