1. Scope
The material defined by this Ford Manufacturing Standard is a mildly acidic cleaner for cleaning and producing a dyed passivated coat using one stage wash equipment. It is generally used for residue free cleaning of terne plate after the drawing process, preferably utilising two stage wash systems.
