1. Scope.
The material desired under this standard is an HM Type Hydraulic oil in accordance with ISO 6743/4 consisting of a severe solvent refined or severe hydrotreated mineral oil compounded with suitable additives to improve its antifoam properties, resistance to wear, oxidation and its corrosion preventing characteristics. It precludes the use of reclaimed oils.
