1. SCOPE:
The materials &fined by this staadard are used in an aqueous solution to produce a chromate conversion coating on aluminum surfaces for the purpose of providing a specific level of corrosion protection, paint adhesion performance, or a bonding surface for subsequent application of a hydrophyllic coating. Suffixes A h B define two variants of the replenisher and Suffix C defines the activator component.
