1. SCOPE
This specification covers the evaluation of performance of thread forming screws, in the nominal diameter range 1.8mm to 6.0mm inclusive, designed to be assembled into thermo-plastics. The assessment criteria by which products are accepted is a ratio of stripping torque against drive torque which must not be less than 2.5.
